The problem with sleeping...

Is just that.. I have a problem sleeping.  Lately.. it has been that I wake up two to three timesa night. (Mom, please do not call because you are worried.. I am fine.)

Tonight I am up because John is at work and I usually like to stay up while he is working so that when he comes home, I sleep while he does.  It is no fun to be awake while he is home and we could be playing together.  It is no fun for him because I usually go in a lot to find out if he has "slept enough yet."
However, he called me about an hour ago letting me know that he was going to bed.....and here I am typing about it.

Sometimes I stay awake because I am scared to be by myself... but tonight I am just restless.  I could put away ALL the laundry that I folded.... but that's just it.. I folded it.  So at least I did something.  Okay.. there is my "lame, it's so late blog."  I am going to attempt to go to bed now.

You poor thing! You should have called me because I was up... I am hoping the new mattress we get tomorrow helps me sleep better.

I think I would feel a lot like you do if Blake had to work like that. When we first got Chloe it was because he was thinking of working third shift. I wasn't scared to be by myself but I have gotten to where I can't fall asleep without him here. It is so bad I even have problems if he falls asleep first. I try to get him to stay awake until I fall asleep.
I hope you can get more settled. I can understand wanting to be awake when he is and vica versa.

If you were older, I'd say alot of that is hormones. But you aren't, so I won't! Ha! Ha! You need to find a really fun hobby to do when he's gone ... jigsaw puzzles, scrapbooking. Now as for going to sleep ... don't do this on a regular basis ... but one Advil gel-cap and a cup of warm decaf coffee/tea helps me relax and go right to sleep when I have restless nights.

I agree with Sharee. My little guy needs a buddy. ;-)

Kidding.

Seriously, though, I have trouble sleeping too. I don't like to do it. I'm like a 5 year old. I just want to stay up and play.

I hope you get some sleep!
